Privacy Policy

ShopTask helps workshops plan jobs and order stock. This page explains what we store and why.

Who we are

ShopTask is operated by Furitech Autohaus PTY LTD (ABN 35 672 330 282). Contact us at hello@shoptask.cloud.

Your business controls its data

Each business decides what its team adds to ShopTask. We store and protect that information on the business's behalf.

What we store

  • Staff names and email addresses, so people can sign in and be assigned to jobs.
  • Jobs, checklists and progress updates your team adds, including customer names, vehicle details and rego numbers entered on jobs.
  • Task photos. These may show vehicles, number plates or people.
  • Supplier details such as names, contact names, emails and account numbers, plus stock order history.
  • Your business name and any background image you upload.

Each business is kept separate

Only active members of a business can see its jobs, photos, suppliers and orders. Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links. When someone is removed from a business, they lose access straight away.

What the ShopTask team can see

To run the service, support you and manage plans, we can see account details: business names, member names and email addresses, roles, sign-in dates and usage counts (such as how many jobs or bookings a business has). We can't see your jobs, photos, customer or vehicle details, suppliers or orders through these tools. Our access is limited to one admin account, and every view is logged.

Where it's stored

ShopTask runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides our hosting, database and file storage. Your data is stored in the United States. Sign-in and notification emails are sent through Lovable's email service.

How long we keep it

We keep your business's information while its account is open. If you ask us to delete it, or your business closes its account, we delete it within 90 days.

Access, correction and complaints

To see, correct or complain about information we hold, email hello@shoptask.cloud. We reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Data breaches

If a data breach affects your information, we'll notify the affected businesses promptly.

Sign-in storage

We keep you signed in using your browser's storage. We use basic, privacy-friendly visitor statistics to see how the site is used. We don't use advertising tracking.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
